Diagnostics

The Diagnostics tool can be used to detect common issues that impact tools in Trail Sense. If you are experiencing issues with the app, try running the diagnostics tool to see if it can detect the issue.

Diagnostics list

Trail Sense will list any warnings or errors that it detects. Warnings will have a yellow icon, and errors will have a red icon.

You can tap on each item to see more information about the issue and how to resolve it.

The diagnostics tool can detect:

• Poor sensor accuracy
• Missing sensors
• Missing permissions
• Blocked notifications
• Accidental location/altitude overrides
• Restricted background access
• Disabled services

Export logs

Tap 'Export logs' to save a ZIP file containing recent crash stack traces, historical process exit reasons, and recent log output from Trail Sense (last hour).
