Pretzels


Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine warm water, yeast, salt, and sugar in a bowl and rest for 5 minutes
  2. Mix in flour and form into a ball
  3. Coat the bowl and dough with oil and rest covered for 1 hour
  4. Divide dough into 8ths and roll into pretzel shapes
  5. Add baking soda to a pot of water and bring to a boil
  6. Dip pretzels in the boiling water for a few seconds and place onto a baking pan
  7. Beat egg and egg wash pretzels
  8. Sprinkle salt onto pretzels
  9. Bake at 450 for 10 - 15 minutes
