Crispy Tofu



  1. Dice tofu into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Lay tofu 1 cube high between cloth or paper towels.
  3. Place a baking sheet and heavy item (such as a cast iron pan) on top of the tofu to drain it for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  5. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  6. Toss tofu in the bowl, and add in corn starch, coating evenly
  7. Place the tofu onto a baking sheet and bake in oven for 30 minutes, flipping halfway
  8. Allow tofu to cool, then toss in your sauce of choice - good options are teriyaki, General Tso's, buffalo, curry, etc.
