Corn Bread


Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Mix dry ingredients (cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, sugar)
  3. Mix in wet ingredients (egg, melted butter, milk)
  4. On a stove, preheat a cast iron skillet with the 5 tbsp of butter
  5. Pour batter into the cast iron once the butter is melted and place in the oven
  6. Bake for 18 - 20 minutes, or until the center is set and edges have a crust
