Caramel

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 6 tbsp butter
• 1/2 cup almond milk
• 1 tsp salt

Directions

• Sauce: 220 degrees
• Soft: 240 degrees

• Hard: 300 degrees

• Melt sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, scraping sides occasionally until light to medium brown

• Remove from heat
• Slowly stir in butter
• Stir in almond milk
• Return to low heat until the desired temperature is reached or when you drop a little into water, it forms the consistency you are looking for
• Remove from heat and stir in salt
