Black Bean Burger
Ingredients
- 1 can of black beans (drained)
- 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1-2 tsp Adobo seasoning
- 1 egg
- Oil
Directions
- Using a food processor or potato masher, turn black beans into a thick paste
- Add seasoning to the black bean paste to your taste
- Combine the black beans with bread crumbs and egg
- Heat a skillet with some oil over medium-high heat
- Split black bean mixture into two, and form into a patty shape
- Cook the burgers for about 4 minutes on each side, or until a crust forms
- (Optional) top with cheese, sauteed onions, Jalapenos, BBQ sauce, etc.
