Farmhouse Veggie Burger

The farmhouse veggie burger can be adapted to many different types of veggie burgers by just adding or removing the kinds of vegetables. This was inspired by the veggie burger at Elizabeth’s Farmhouse.



  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Follow directions on quinoa to cook it in microwave
  3. Using a fork, poke holes in the sweet potatoes and cover them with plastic wrap and microwave for 5 minutes
  4. Chop red pepper, onions and kale and toss into a mixing bowl
  5. Drain black beans and add to the mixing bowl
  6. Add the sweet potatoes and quinoa to the bowl
  7. Add salt, pepper, adobo, and garlic powder
  8. Mix and mash all the ingredients together until it has the consistency of cookie dough
  9. Pour mixture onto a pan and form into patties
  10. Bake for 20-30 minutes
  11. Turn oven off and add cheese and let sit in oven
  12. Slice a tomato and lettuce and add to the top of the burger and put in a bun
